Rashford repeatedly criticised by AmorimForward wants new challengeManager insists his attitude must changeFollow GOAL on WhatsApp! 🟢📱WHAT HAPPENED?
Speaking to reporters ahead of United's Europa League clash against FCSB, Amorim was clear about what Rashford needs to do to get back into his first team, claiming "Our team should be so much better with Rashford" but insisting that the England international is simply not hitting the "standards" required.

Amorim said: "Imagine a talent like Rashford, our team should be so much better with Rashford. But Rashford, he has to change. If he changes, we are more than welcome to put a talent like Rashford [in the team], and we need it! But in this moment, I think it's really clear that we have to set some standards. So we are waiting for Marcus, if he wants really, really bad. It's not personal. I have nothing against Marcus, I just have to have the same rules for everybody, for me it's so simple."
THE BIGGER PICTURE
Rashford and Amorim are reportedly no longer on speaking terms after the striker told journalist Henry Winter he was ready for a "new challenge", with the Portuguese coach repeatedly calling into question the 27-year-old's attitude and work ethic. It feels like the end of the road for Rashford at United, but time is running out for him to find a new home before the January transfer window shuts.

There's plenty of interest in the out-of-favour forward in Europe, with rumoured destinations including Juventus, Milan, Napoli and Barcelona. However, the Englishman's wage demands have dissuaded several clubs from pursuing his signature and with transfer deadline day imminent, he reportedly only has two options left: a loan move to Juventus or a long-term deal at Barcelona.
