Epic Games has released a new trailer for Fortnite‘s annual Halloween event, which has confirmed that characters from major franchises like Scooby-Doo, Friday the 13th, Scream, and Poppy Playtime will be coming to the island by the end of October. Fortnite is currently in the middle of Chapter 6 Season 4, and it’s expected that Fortnitemares will run through the end of the season on October 31.

Fortnite recently revealed Doja Cat’s upcoming skins, which will appear in the game when the Fortnitemares update goes live on October 10. The rapper, singer, and songwriter will be receiving two skins, which players will be able to purchase in the game’s Item Shop. In addition to receiving a skin, it’s expected that Doja Cat will appear on the map as a boss for a limited time. While it seems as if Epic Games has prepared a wide variety of new skins for players to enjoy, gamers can also expect to see skins from past years return to the Item Shop as well.

Fortnite Reveals Scooby-Doo, Ghostface, Jason, Huggy Wuggy, and More

With Fortnite‘s annual Halloween event beginning on October 9, Epic Games has released a fresh trailer giving players their first look at new skins that will be released in the coming days and weeks ahead. Fortnite recently teased three new collaborations, which included the animated television show Scooby-Doo, the co-op horror game R.E.P.O., and the film franchise Scream. In the trailer, players were given a good look at some of the new skins coming with these major crossovers as Daphne, Velma, Fred, Shaggy, and Scooby-Doo can be seen arriving at a haunted house. Players can even catch a glimpse of the new Ghostface skin, as the character can be seen chasing someone around the halls of the home.

As the trailer unfolds, players can also get a good look at Huggy Wuggy in Fortnite, confirming an upcoming collaboration with Poppy Playtime. Gamers can also see Jason Voorhees from Friday the 13th in Fortnite for the first time, which has come as welcome news to those who have been eagerly awaiting his arrival on the island.

Fortnite‘s new cosmetics won’t be limited to crossovers, as the trailer has shown off some fresh original skins as well. For instance, a glowing green Peely can be seen clawing his way out of the ground, while a vampire version of Marigold also seems to be roaming the halls. There is also a character wearing a skeleton costume while sporting a pumpkin in the shape of a cat’s head. With so much content to enjoy and even more just around the corner, many fans are feeling optimistic about the future of Fortnite.
